The tournament will be played in accordance with the applicable rules of FIFA and the KNVB and some deviating rules determined by the tournament management. Teams are expected to know the rules of the game for the age category that apply to them. These can be found elsewhere on the website. It is played on natural grass and on artificial turf pitches. In all groups, there is no limit to the number of changes. These changes must be made with the permission of the referee, in accordance with FIFA rules. So not during the game. In matches where a decision has to be made (in the play-offs), in the event of a tie, penalty kicks will be taken immediately and no extra time will be played. The match is only over when the referee signals this by blowing the whistle, not when the announcer indicates this. The scoring is in accordance with the three-point system, so;

If two or more teams end up in the same place in the group phase, the following will be considered:<\/span>
1. Goal difference
2. The number of goals scored
3. Mutual results

<\/p>

If this also does not provide a definitive answer, then;<\/span>
1. In the event that both teams play (simultaneously) at the same location that day, penalty kicks will be taken.
2. In the event that both teams play at a different location that day (or are no longer present) and taking penalty kicks is therefore not possible, will be decided by drawing lots. From tournaments 2026 onwards, the player list for the tournament must be submitted by email, so one list for Saturday and Sunday. The leader\/coach must report to the secretariat before the start of the matches. Players are required to be able to identify themselves when necessary if the organisation requests this and will regularly carry out random checks regarding ages. If a player is unable or refuses to identify themselves, the organisation may deny this player further participation. If, after any identification, it appears that a player has participated unlawfully with the team in question, all previously played matches of that team will be declared invalid and converted into a regulatory 0-2 loss. The player in question will also be denied further participation and the organisation may decide to remove the team in question from the tournament.
A player may be registered for multiple own teams during the tournament, but not in the same age group. A team (players + reserve players) may compete with a maximum of 3 dispensation players and these may be a maximum of 12 months older than the permitted age in his\/her class. All teams must ensure that they are present on time for the start of their match. Teams that, without good reason, are unable to be present on time to start their match, will automatically lose 0-2. Not being able to find the sports park, or not knowing where to play, is not a valid excuse. That is why it is also important to check on Saturday where and at what time to play on Sunday. If your team is late and you have a good reason for this, we urgently request that you contact the (local) organization in good time.

ALL<\/strong> matches are played WITHOUT<\/strong> Assistant referees. The referee is the only one who decides whether or not a ball has crossed the line or when a player is offside. During the final matches for places 1 and 2 on Sunday, the organization will appoint official assistant referees. ALL decisions made by the referee on the pitch are binding and no objection is possible. Complaints about referees will only be dealt with by the organization in exceptional cases.<\/p>

Just like in almost all competitions nowadays, only the captain is allowed to ask the referee for an explanation of decisions made in a proper manner. If a player, not being the captain, comes to seek redress, the referee may take action against this<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

A player who receives a yellow card during the match must leave the field for two (2) minutes. It may not be replaced during that period. The referee MUST indicate this by showing the yellow card. A player who receives a second yellow card must leave the field and is excluded for the remainder of that match. A player who is sent off with a direct red card is excluded for the remainder of the match in question and the next match of his\/her team. In case of serious violations or violent acts, the (local) organization may decide on a longer suspension. If a player who has received a direct red card still plays in the next match and this is determined, that team will lose the match in regulation. The team management is responsible for this and only when a player is suspended for more than 1 match will this be communicated by the tournament management.
If someone on the bench \/ along the field, belonging to the team, i.e. team officials (coach, assistant coach, caretaker) or reserve players receives a red card (even if this is the result of two yellow cards), then one player will have to leave the field and the team in question will play with one player less.
When a match is abandoned, the following action is taken;
\u2013 The referee informs the tournament management of the reason for the strike
\u2013 In consultation, a guilty team will be designated by the referee and organization
\u2013 This team will then lose the match 0-2 and can be eliminated from the tournament
\u2013 If both teams are at fault, both teams will be deducted 1 win point and can be removed from the tournament
In case of (repeated) misconduct, or violent acts, the organization will not hesitate to immediately remove teams from the tournament. We stand for respect and fair play. Misconduct along the field by parents or leaders will also be dealt with harshly and this can also lead to the removal of individuals or the entire team. The police will be called in at all times in the event of serious (violent) crimes.

Free kick<\/strong>: This is only given in exceptional cases. This can be taken by dribbling with the ball, passing the ball or shooting from the spot where the free ball was given.
Corner kick<\/strong>: Corner kicks are taken from the corners of the field of play by dribbling the ball in, passing it in or shooting it in. In all cases, the player who takes the corner kick can score immediately.
Goal Kick<\/strong>: This is taken from the ground inside the goalkeeper's area by dribbling, passing or shooting the ball. The back ball can be taken by either the goalkeeper or an outfield player. The opponent is at least 5 meters away.
Throw-in or kick-in<\/strong>: On and away ball, play is resumed by dribbling in. Passing and\/or shooting is not allowed. After the ball has been dribbled in, the player who dribbles in can score.
Kickoff<\/strong>: After a goal has been scored, a player from the team that conceded a goal dribbles the ball in wide of their own goal. Players of the opposing team start in their own half.
Ball return<\/strong>: A return ball (played via a foot) may not be picked up by the goalkeeper. If this is done, the pupil referee will explain that this is not allowed. \u2013 Each team is expected to arrive at the accommodation in sportswear. Shower facilities will be provided.
\u2013 All spectators at the matches must be behind the fence or at least 2 meters from the field.
